the final.

Just a few short hours ago I took the last final of my undergraduate years. No more textbooks, quizzes, notes or exams. No more sleeping through lectures, study breaks at cafes or celebrating another finished semester at the bars. At least not until I decide to go to grad school that is! But nonetheless this feeling of freedom and possibilities is exhilirating. 8 years of grade school, 4 years of high school and the last 4 years of college have all come down to this moment....I am a college graduate!!!

chicago.

Well time definitely has flown by in the last couple of weeks, soon months, since I've come back to Chicago. In two days I'll officially be DONE with school, and only a few weeks shy of being the proud new owner of a Bachelors Degree (in Business Administration: Entrepreneurship in case you're wondering)!! This little addition doesn't exactly do much for me at this point in my life since I'm more confused now than before. With so many options available, all I want to do is just run and hide until it's all over and someone else makes the decision for me. Yeah...and they say I've got a proactive personality. Definitely NOT when it comes to decision making, that's for sure. But all is not lost, since today I found the opportunity to participate in a sleep study where the payment is a whopping $1800 for 4 weeks!! Let's just hope there's still spaces left for me cause money like that "piechota nie chodzi" as my Mum would say. But aside from all this educating myself in the last weeks, Chicago has proven to be a very vibrant city in other respects as well. Whether it's the free show and $1 beers at the Empty Bottle on Mondays, Movies in the Park every Tuesday or ballroom dancing (in full ballroom dancing attire) in Millenium Park's fountains any day of the week (so far it's only been done once, but there's still plenty of time), there's lots to do in the Windy City. And for the first time ever my finally legal self is partaking in all. So for those bored in their respective towns and cities, I invite you to see what this lovely little town has to offer, and believe me, it's so much more than deep dish pizza and Al Capone, although there's enough of that too.
