Just a few short hours ago I took the last final of my undergraduate years. No more textbooks, quizzes, notes or exams. No more sleeping through lectures, study breaks at cafes or celebrating another finished semester at the bars. At least not until I decide to go to grad school that is! But nonetheless this feeling of freedom and possibilities is exhilirating. 8 years of grade school, 4 years of high school and the last 4 years of college have all come down to this moment....I am a college graduate!!!

chicago.
Well time definitely has flown by in the last couple of weeks, soon months, since I've come back to Chicago. In two days I'll officially be DONE with school, and only a few weeks shy of being the proud new owner of a Bachelors Degree (in Business Administration: Entrepreneurship in case you're wondering)!! This little addition doesn't exactly do much for me at this point in my life since I'm more confused now than before. With so many options available, all I want to do is just run and hide until it's all over and someone else makes the decision for me. Yeah...and they say I've got a proactive personality. Definitely NOT when it comes to decision making, that's for sure. But all is not lost, since today I found the opportunity to participate in a sleep study where the payment is a whopping $1800 for 4 weeks!! Let's just hope there's still spaces left for me cause money like that "piechota nie chodzi" as my Mum would say. But aside from all this educating myself in the last weeks, Chicago has proven to be a very vibrant city in other respects as well. Whether it's the free show and $1 beers at the Empty Bottle on Mondays, Movies in the Park every Tuesday or ballroom dancing (in full ballroom dancing attire) in Millenium Park's fountains any day of the week (so far it's only been done once, but there's still plenty of time), there's lots to do in the Windy City. And for the first time ever my finally legal self is partaking in all. So for those bored in their respective towns and cities, I invite you to see what this lovely little town has to offer, and believe me, it's so much more than deep dish pizza and Al Capone, although there's enough of that too.

over.
And so it ends...but at the same time begins. Tonight was the last AIESEC hoorah. After tonight, I will officially be an @ alum. It's a scary thought, especially considering the effect this organization has had on me in the last 4 years. It's times like these when you realize, looking back, how good it's been. Of course, not everyday is perfect. Not everyday will be some grand adventure. But without these "everydays" how can we measure a perfect day or an adventurous day. It is through the ordinary that we discover the extraordinary, often in the most unexpected places.
Tomorrow (in a few hours) I'll make the 2 hour trip back up to Chicago, leaving behind 4 years of good times, bad times, and all the times in between. Leaving behind but never forgetting. The memories, from the very beginning on the 10th floor of Illini Tower to tonight, laughing over lost and then found debit cards, the FBI and the general randomness that always ensues. Friendships are an amazing thing.
To yesterday, today and tomorrow...I'll miss you, but never forget you! Until we meet again...Cheers!

minutes.
Today my Finance professor gave us sort of a challenge. He asked us to consider making small changes in our life and seeing the huge difference that they make. Imagine putting in an additional 15 minutes of studying everyday until the end of the semester (which is only 6 weeks away!!!!), or putting in an additional 15 minutes of work, without being asked to do it, or maybe the additional 15 minutes to work out?? Small steps...big differences. So, encouraged and caffeine-happy I thought, "Yeah! Let's do that!" and headed for the library to work on a project for a class in which I failed my last midterm...I need all the help I can get! But of course, things are easier said than done, and the last hour and a half has been spent replying to emails, glancing at my project for 5 minutes, listening to music, glancing at project for 5 minutes, looking at pics, glancing at project for 5 minutes, and so now, all the time is gone and I've done little more than formatted worksheets someone else has prepared. But I guess when you combine it all, I did put in an extra 15 minutes!! You have to start somewhere, right?
4 days and counting until a very special occasion!! Leaving to Minnesota on Friday! =)
